📋 Description

• Our client is a leading Australian non-bank lender, servicing brokers and borrowers who value responsive turnarounds, a flexible approach and funding certainty. • Since 2012, we’ve funded property-backed transactions across Australia for property professionals, small to medium size businesses and SMSFs (Self-Managed Super Funds). • With offices in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane and a sales team across the country, we strive to deliver fast, reliable alternative lending solutions for brokers and borrowers. • Backed by a strong balance sheet, a robust model and an expert team, our client has built a reputation that gets results. • Reporting to the Head of Sales - Commercial Lending [TBC], this role is responsible for providing phone-based outreach to brokers to pitch our client’s lending products, provide a basic overview of the value offering, understand the broker’s business, pitch our client’s lending products and solicit new loan inquiries. • The objective of the role is to activate and engage with broker prospects that are somewhat known to Assetline but that we do not contact frequently enough or get business from. • Success in the role will be reflected in deals written from brokers that the tele sales person contacts. • Consistent outbound calls to brokers to market our client’s products and build a Qualified Account pool. • Ensure accurate data is maintained in our client’s customer relationship management software (Salesforce). • Deliver exceptional customer service by ensuring appropriate information, appetite confirmation and reliable action items following conversations with brokers. • Answer queries from Brokers at a high level. • Ensure accurate data management in Salesforce and that all daily follow up items are actioned in a timely manner.

🎯 Requirements

• Able to work 9am-5pm Australian time (12am-8am South African time) • A customer-centric and solutions focused mindset and the willingness to make a high volume of phone calls is fundamental to success in the role • An enthusiastic and professional phone manner • Excellent organisational and communication skills • Ability to understand the functioning of a CRM database and how to accurately manage data • Confidence to deal with external stakeholders • Ability to work autonomously and to contribute and work as part of a team • Self-motivated with a desire to continually exceed expectations • Experience in the banking, non-bank and finance industries is helpful though not essential • Working knowledge of the banking industry, Australian housing market, and regulatory environment is helpful though not essential
