Description
• Lead and supervise AML model validation projects • Recommend the approval of models or corrective actions • Work effectively with internal partners to ensure AML models meet required Bank standards • Provide information and assistance on a timely basis.
Requirements
• Undergraduate degree or technical certificate and/or 10+ years relevant experience • Advanced knowledge of multiple risk management disciplines, strategies, governance, regulations, controls, operating environment, consulting principles, procedures and processes • Strong statistical background and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Knowledge in AML program including transaction monitoring, KYC, sanctions and related regulatory requirements for retail and wholesale banking businesses • Expertise (8+ years) in AML model development or validation • Proficient in relevant programming languages such as Python, R, SAS and/or Matlab.
