• IXL Learning, developer of personalized learning products used by millions of people globally, is seeking an assessment specialist to join our team as an Language Arts Curriculum Designer and help shape our growing suite of K-12 assessments. • As a Language Arts Curriculum Designer with an assessment focus, you will design clear, engaging assessment items and collaborate with psychometricians and program managers to achieve our educational goals. • Your educational insight, creative solutions, strong writing skills, and commitment to quality will make personalized learning a reality for millions of students. • This is a full-time remote position for candidates in the United States.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field • 2+ years' experience writing items for statewide or national assessments • K-12 ELA teaching or tutoring experience • Outstanding written and spoken communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and concisely with a wide range of age groups • Ability to think strategically and creatively solve problems • Can-do attitude with an openness to others' ideas and a strong attention to detail • Ability to quickly learn new guidelines and software; familiarity with HTML, Jira, or version control software is a plus • Experience in curriculum development and instructional design is a plus
