Description

• Execute Team Rubicon’s strategy across a designated area to enhance our ability to respond rapidly and locally to disasters. • Participate in the development of standards, policies, and processes for response, recovery, and mitigation operations. • Connect the Branch with the representative functional leader through matrixed reporting and coordination. • Support localized responses and operations management. • Mentor functional Greyshirt volunteer leaders. • Assist in the planning of operations in all phases of the disaster cycle. • Coordinate and ensure execution of After-Action Reports (AAR) to capture and implement organizational learning from disaster response operations and exercise scenarios.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of relevant professional experience in the military, disaster response, emergency management or first responder fields • Proven record of personnel management experience such as recruiting, managing, training, and developing employees and volunteers • Experienced with technology tools and in remote working for communicating and coordinating with a large network of TR staff members, Greyshirts (volunteers), and external stakeholders • Successful past performance in leading volunteers is highly desired • Preferred: Knowledge and experience with Power BI, data management, and project management platforms • Preferred: Knowledge and experience with ArcGIS and location information visualization platforms
