Description

• Provide product demonstration, customer support/service, and distributor support • Communicate with team concerning quotes and manage specific territory of outside sales • Develop understanding of competitive products and incorporate this into sales presentations • Maintain direct contact with customers to analyze equipment needs and promote interest in products • Ensure timely delivery of goods and services post-sale and assist Service and Warranty departments • Track persistent problems and communicate effectively with customers and management

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED • 5 to 7 years experience in marketing and sale of industrial equipment • Knowledge of a technical field • A degree in engineering, business or marketing (preferred) • Knowledgeable of direct sales practices to construction contractors • Demonstrated ability to maintain relationships with personnel at all levels • Heavy mechanical ability or service background • Proficient computer skills (MS Office required) • Ability to work independently • Ability to manage a vast sales territory and set priorities • Experience with heavy equipment sale • Excellent communication, organizational and customer service skills • Superior time management skills and strong attention to detail
