β’ Our mission is to resolve climate change through the power of biodiverse, native forest restoration projects worldwide. β’ The Head of Operations and Strategy will be critical in advancing this mission by ensuring the successful coordination and process enhancement of the Accelerator Program phases and driving company-wide strategic operational initiatives. β’ This role is central to supporting streamlined cross-functional operations to support project development and company achievement of goals. β’ By implementing effective operational strategies, simplifying and facilitating processes, and contributing to our growth strategy, the Head of Operations and Strategy will help forest creators meet their restoration goals and contribute to Terraformation's global impact on forest restoration and carbon sequestration. β’ Location: Remote; US preferred β’ Salary: $120,000 - 150,000, plus equity (depending on location and experience)
β’ Minimum of 10 years of senior-level experience in program operations or project management; working knowledge of the nature-based carbon market sector is strongly preferred β’ Proven track record of securing philanthropic or blended finance funding, with experience in partner cultivation resulting in multi-million dollar contributions β’ Exceptional strategic thinking and process optimization skills, with a demonstrated ability to implement large-scale operational improvements across complex programs β’ Proven leadership with the ability to mentor and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability, professional growth, and shared purpose β’ Strong emotional intelligence and ability to act with humility and respect β’ Multilingual proficiency is highly preferred; fluency in Spanish, French, Swahili, Portuguese, or Mandarin β’ Experience working with foresters, landowners, and/or international groups carrying out ecosystem restoration work is preferred β’ Ability to travel internationally, sometimes to remote locations
