You may well have become disenchanted with the status quo of legacy thinking - i.e., point-to-point integrations, lack of visionary data strategy, and most of all the trapping of the world's most valuable data in inaccessible systems. You will strive to make every piece of data accessible, findable, interoperable, and reusable. You have realised that this is only possible with a cloud first, modern, and purpose-built tech stack. • You will know that only by replatforming and reengineering all available scientific data can you unlock the potential for the life sciences industry to achieve advanced scientific and operational outcomes thus opening the path to Scientific AI. • We are looking for candidates who have led product teams and designed product strategies within the life sciences lab informatics world, whether it be in the ELN, LIMS, or SDMS markets. • You love to collaborate with customers, with fellow product managers, designers, product marketeers, sales, engineers and executives. Come help us make life science data live forever thus unlocking the path to solving humanity's greatest challenges.... • What You Will Do • In this role you will lead the product vision for core components of the Scientific Data and AI Cloud, including next-gen scientific data management and lab automation solutions. You will do this in close collaboration with your peers across AI/Ml and scientific use cases. • Your persona-based focus will be the IT teams supporting Science, Operations and Manufacturing at the largest pharmaceutical enterprises in the world. This persona has an urgent need to enable scientific and operational outcomes by transforming scientific data (experiment context and design, instrument outputs, analysis results, CRO & CDMO) and making it available in Tetra’s Scientific Data and AI Cloud. • You will work closely with our customers, our engineering teams, and our architects to guide the strategy which applies our platform to the highest value problems. The ideal candidate has strong technical depth of the requirements for scientific data management. • Responsibilities • Set the vision and lead the product strategy for our next-gen scientific data management and lab automation solutions and articulate this vision in every customer interaction. • Evangelize and ratify your roadmap every day, every week. • Build deep relationships with our customers' IT teams; deeply understand their processes and objectives. • Conduct thorough market research and user feedback sessions to understand the needs and challenges faced by scientific and operational IT translating these insights into high value product features. • Lead and develop a team of product managers who will specialize in different areas of the products surface area (for example data management, data integration, data accessibility). • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure the product interface is user-friendly, facilitating seamless data access, reuse and analysis. • Make appropriate tradeoffs to optimize time-to-market. • Build and maintain annual release plan, manage feature delivery from discovery to validation in production. • Be conversant with architects and engineers in order to prioritize, develop, and launch product features that align with our customers needs. • Research competition and market trends and propose roadmap trade-offs between parity and innovation. • Decompose complex use cases and technical requirements into smaller manageable stories by creating and prioritizing a backlog with your engineering team. • Bring creative ideas and proposals to development teams and executives supported by qualitative justification and quantitative analysis. • Develop and validate new concept prototypes.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in life science software product management, ideally with a vendor producing LIMS, ELN, or SDMS products • Proven track record of successfully championing trajectory-changing shifts in the biopharma industry which have resulted in revenue and customer growth • Fearless ability to interact with customers and synthesize their insights to drive product strategy • Deep knowledge of data management, data visualization techniques and tools, as well as experience managing data based products that deal with complex data, processing and analysis • Proven track record of developing and launching successful products, from ideation through implementation • Experience of building and leading highly technical product management teams • Ability to travel regularly to customer locations and whiteboard the product strategy with them • Experience of working within a biopharma company in an IT related function is a big plus
