And we're just getting started. • Join us in our mission to break down barriers to communication and free the flow of conversation for people everywhere. • TextNow is looking for a Manager for our SRE team who will lead one of our most critical teams. You will manage a team of Site Reliability Engineers who currently own infrastructure, automation monitoring, logging, CI/CD, reliability, and our day-to-day operations.

🎯 Requirements

• Experienced and Adaptable: A highly skilled technical leader with 5+ years of experience in an operationally focused role, ideally within SRE, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering. You have a strong background in cloud platforms, automation, observability, and incident response. • People-First Leader: A dedicated mentor with 2+ years of leadership experience focused on growing and empowering engineers. You have a track record of guiding employees through career development, coaching, and mentoring while fostering a culture of ownership and accountability. • Hands-On with Modern Tooling: Proficient in industry-standard tools such as GitHub for version control and collaboration, AWS for cloud infrastructure, Ansible for configuration management, and Terraform for infrastructure as code. You understand how to leverage these or similar tools to build scalable, resilient, and automated systems. • Career Growth Champion: You create clear career progression paths by setting personal development goals, conducting performance evaluations, and collaborating with employees on their objectives. Most importantly, ensure your team is engaged, motivated, and excited about their work. • Effective Communicator: A respectfully candid leader who provides focused, actionable feedback.
