Description

• Thales is hiring a Senior Sales Engineer for the West region of the US. • Assist the sales team with pre-sales technical knowledge and presentations. • Demonstrate how a proposed solution meets and exceeds customer requirements. • Participate in sales conference calls and prospect visits. • Plan, manage, and execute product and service demonstrations and proofs of value.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas: Data Architecture, Database Administration, network security, web application development or related security solutions. • Familiarity in databases (Oracle, MS SQL, Sybase, DB2). • Experience in Linux administration. • Must have a foundational knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, load balancers, proxies, and firewalls. • Experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP). • Compliance standards knowledge (PCI, SOX, HIPAA) – an advantage. • Able to effectively present technical material to small and large groups. • Requires up to 50% travel availability and flexibility.
