• About Us • The Athletic is a digital sports media company that connects sports fans with athletes and teams. • We’re looking for an engineering manager to lead our web and mobile products team. • This is a remote role in the US and Canada only.
Requirements
• 2+ years experience managing an engineering team. • Experience leading a team building both web or iOS/Android products. • Direct experience scaling a small to medium/large team highly desired. • Prior experience working with/supporting AWS, PHP, JS & MySQL desired. • Enthusiasm to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment. • Passion for sports is understandable, but not required.
