• The Athletic is a digital sports media company bringing fans closer to athletes. • Join the Data Analytics team to develop and standardize reporting metrics for strategy. • Work collaboratively with various teams to build reliable data systems for reporting needs. • Position is remote in the US and Canada only.
🎯 Requirements
• Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics or other quantitative field. • 3+ years of experience working with data analytics or data science teams to deliver reporting, analysis and insight. • Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases. • Collaborative mindset, strong curiosity, and able to operate with different levels of ownership on projects. • Excellent analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills. • Enthusiasm for working with team members from different backgrounds and contributing to inclusive culture. • Ability to consolidate findings and communicate analysis to the executive team in an easy to understand manner.
