• Performs medical/pharmacy reviews and case management activities. • Provides clinical insight through peer review, benefit review, consultation, and service to customers. • Serves as a clinical educator and consultant to various operations. • Balances customer/member needs with business needs. • Participates in coverage guideline development and quality processes. • Serves as a mentor or coach to other Medical Directors.
🎯 Requirements
• Current unrestricted license to practice medicine within a US state, territory, or district. • Current board certification in an ABMS or AOA recognized specialty. • Minimum of 5 years of clinical practice experience and/or direct patient care beyond residency. • Computer competency in Word processing, Spreadsheet, Email, PowerPoint, and Personal Information Management programs.
