• Support growth of the Electron Microscopy business within the Materials and Structural Analysis Division • Drive market shares through lead generation and qualification • Grow market share in industry with a primary focus on SEM in the German/Austria Industry region • Prospect for new leads in new and/or existing accounts and market segments • Attend Industry focused events across EMEA to generate new leads • Establish and manage relationships with new customers • Nurture relationships with new customers and engage with the sales team once the lead becomes an opportunity • Explain how our solution meets customer needs which will require extensive research with potential and existing customers • Lead specific campaign roll-outs within the team • Coordinate workshops and site visits targeting new customers • Analyze market trends, customer requirements, and competitive strategy
• Masters in physical or life sciences, material sciences, or engineering • 1 – 3 years of professional experience in a commercial environment will be considered • Proven expertise with Scanning Electron Microscopy • Some sales experience would be preferable but not crucial • Identifying creative and innovative solutions • Consistent and proven record of delivering/exceeding quotas • Track record in delivering results and holding self-accountable • Demonstrates solution expertise and focus on value creation • Proficient in German, with a good understanding of English • Ability to generate pipeline and business opportunity leads • Ability to increase our market share by generating new business leads • Collaborate with, and nurture positive relationships with, multi-national and cross-functional matrix teams • Meeting or exceeding lead generation and opportunity targets within specific segments • Confident in public speaking and client settings • Clear and open communication skills • Ability to discuss benefits of electron microscopy in newcomer’s terms • Enthusiastic and driven • Clear organization skills • Door opener • Proactive self-starter • Understanding of Sales Development and Industrial Markets
