Description

• Support the Integration Management Office (IMO) Finance team and businesses in Finance activities. • Focus on synergy planning, including revenue and cost optimization, and integration of Finance systems. • Collaborate with various function leaders within Thermo Fisher. • Gather, analyze, and synthesize data for integration activities. • Track synergy initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams. • Deliver clear synergy assumptions overview to the Corporate Development team. • Communicate project plan requirements and timelines. • Prepare management reporting packages for senior management. • Help guide acquired company finance teams through integration changes. • Support other ad-hoc projects as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred. • 10+ years of consistent business growth in a large global company, with roles involving increasing responsibilities. • Experience with key financial systems and familiarity with core accounting concepts and financial statements. • Prior experience in working with internal and external partners to set and coordinate expectations, achieve project outcomes, and drive resolutions is desirable. • Experience in project/program management, risk management, and customer communication. • Familiar with the Thermo Fisher financial system environment, including CMR, HFM, FDMEE, etc. • Skilled in interpreting financial results and performing detailed analysis. • Strong team building skills working with a diverse group of people, even if geographically dispersed. • Outstanding collaborator with excellent interpersonal abilities. • Meticulous attention to detail coupled with robust analytical and operational capabilities. • Proficient in verbal and written communication, adept at summarizing and conveying information succinctly and efficiently. • Competent in analyzing extensive datasets to identify elements requiring further investigation and remediation. • Self-motivated and able to perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment. • Exercises sound judgment in handling confidential and proprietary information. • Comprehensive proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, with additional familiarity with Smartsheets being valuable. • Committed to continuous learning, career advancement, and professional development; eager to assume additional responsibilities and pursue opportunities to enhance skills and capabilities.
