📋 Description

• Vendor Management Specialist provides oversight of vendor supply chain for moderate complexity clinical trials. • Selects and contracts vendors for client's study and provides financial control. • Identifies scope of third party vendors required to support clinical trials. • Ensures compliance with company practices, client requirements and GxP. • Provides financial management of vendor pass through costs. • Identifies risks proactively and communicates to stakeholders. • Oversees inverse logistics processes, including returns and destruction activities. • Maintains close collaboration of I/E activities to ensure regulatory compliance.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree related to Supply Chain, Business Administration or Management, or Engineering • Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 5+ years) • Preferably with minimum 5 years proven experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, and Vendor Management • Must have at least 2 years experience in leading a team, and/or mentoring or coaching junior colleagues • Preferably working experience working with international vendors • Excellent English communication skills, written and oral • Excellent interpersonal skills • Strong organizational, planning and time management skills • Strong customer service orientation and attention to detail aligned with high standards of quality and excellence • Adaptive to changes and ability to manage high pressure situations • Experience of managing vendors • Supply chain experience, preferably with clinical trials or pharmaceutical industry • Import/Export experience • Procurement experience • GxP experience
