Description

• The purpose of this role is to provide Dayforce consulting support for all aspects of the assigned Dayforce Projects • The Dayforce Consultant participates in all stages of the delivery lifecycle (discovery, configuration, testing, deployment, post-go-live support) • Deliverable responsibilities include gathering customer requirements, configuring the Ceridian solution to meet documented customer requirements, setting, and managing customer expectations • Provide guidance and oversight to more junior consultants, identifying risks and working with team to resolve • Consult and provide best practices and recommendations on new product functionality ensuring the client is maximizing their investment • Document and validate customer’s business requirements and map to product functionality • Configure application to meet customer’s documented business requirements • Conduct consulting sessions (on the phone and in-person) and document with meeting minutes • Attend internal project meetings and provide status on progress of activities and deliverables • Provide customers with follow-up consulting and general assistance in areas of expertise • Be a “go-to” resource for specific functional areas for both internal and external users • Contribute to internal product initiatives • Document solutions and contribute to a solutions repository • Contribute to internal knowledge share; review posted feedback on a continuous basis and respond to questions • Participate in Continuing Education sessions • Complete new release training on a timely basis; be fully versed on new and/or enhanced functionality in each product release • Approximately 85% billable utilization

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Engineering, or other related field is preferred • 5-8 years experience in Cloud Based Software delivery • 3-5 years of software delivery experience is preferred • Experience with SaaS/Cloud Computing environment, including experience with an HRIS/ERP system is preferred • Demonstrated experience with change management is a plus • Demonstrated critical thinking through reviewing numbers, trends, and data yielding conclusions based on findings • High level of integrity working with confidential client and customer data • Experience in business process mapping • Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, Powerpoint and project scheduling tools • Ability to work multiple projects and clients at the same time and manage priorities • Desire and ability to thrive as a detail-oriented team player who can work with minimal supervision • Understanding of the software development life cycle • Strong collaboration and organizational skills • Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present findings, or translate data conclusions into understandable documentation • Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and easily • Desire to successfully operate in a fast-paced deadline driven environment • Ability and willingness to travel to client sites as needed (Up to 10% Travel Required)
