📋 Description
• Prepare engineering cost and man-hour estimates and schedules • Develop scopes of work, conceptual designs, and execution plans • Physical substation design including yard layouts, plans, and details • Ground grid design plan and equipment/structure grounding details • Regularly meet and correspond with clients or outside personnel • Provide short term field support during construction
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from accredited program • Minimum 7 years related experience • Professional Engineer (PE) is preferred • Proficiency with National Electrical Safety Code and IEEE / ANSI Standards • Knowledge of computer drafting tools such as AutoCAD preferred • Excellent written & verbal communication skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Capability of solving difficult problems that require adaptation and modification of standard approaches, techniques, procedures, and criteria
