β’ Tint is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vacation Rentals Insurance Program Manager to join our team and quickly scale our insurance programs in the short-term rentals and home-sharing markets. β’ This role requires a dynamic individual with a deep understanding of these spaces, including insurance principles and regulations. β’ The ideal candidate will bring innovative thinking and a proactive mindset to drive transformative changes within the industry. β’ Build and lead the team that will develop, implement, and manage comprehensive Vacation Rentals insurance programs in line with organizational objectives. β’ Cultivate relationships with new and existing non-insurance brands in the vacation rental space, driving Tint's customer base growth. β’ Collaborate with insurance brokers and carriers to negotiate favorable terms and conditions for insurance policies. β’ Cultivate strong relationships with insurance carriers, maintaining regular communication and addressing areas of opportunity proactively. β’ Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing insurance operations. β’ Oversee the administration of insurance policies, including premium payments, renewals, and claims processing. β’ Serve as the subject matter expert in the vacation rentals space, staying abreast of industry developments and best practices. β’ Ensure alignment across business and technical teams to deliver on business requirements. β’ Conduct regular reviews and audits of insurance programs to assess performance and identify improvement opportunities. β’ Prepare reports and presentations for senior management, clients, and carriers, highlighting key metrics, trends, and recommendations. β’ Identify and attend relevant insurance industry events and program-specific gatherings.
β’ Proven experience (5+ years) in Vacation Rentals and/or Property Management industries β’ Understanding of insurance principles, products, and regulations that apply to the vertical. β’ Ability to collaborate with Tint's Growth team, progressing sales opportunities through the pipeline, and securing new business opportunities within the Vacation Rental market. β’ Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, proficiency with Excel (Google Sheets), and the ability to make data-driven decisions. β’ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. β’ Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the capacity to lead cross-functional teams and drive initiatives to successful completion. β’ Knowledge of emerging trends and best practices in vacation rental and risk management.
