Description

• Assist with the month-end close process • Assist with running and analyzing reports for month-end and year-end review and for tax purposes • Aid in the preparation of general ledger reconciliations • Research and reconcile any discrepancies, as needed • Responsible for weekly and monthly linear and streaming accounts payable with TV and streaming networks • Own accounts payable activities in this media-focused subsidiary to ensure the accuracy of entries and timeliness of paying vendors • Manage vendor outreach and relationship management • Assist with the preparation of bank and credit card reconciliations • Support the company accounting team and ensure backup documentation is properly organized

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (or similar major) • CPA or CPA eligible preferred • 1+ years of accounting experience obtained in either a public accounting or corporate environment • Knowledge of Sage Intacct is a plus • Understanding of GL structure • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel • Working knowledge of GAAP
