Description

• Join Torc’s Map Enablement team to design and implement mapping data processing pipelines. • Collaborate with engineering teams to create tailored software solutions • Write technical design documents and participate in design and code reviews. • Deliver scalable, cost-effective mapping solutions in preparation for commercial launch. • Promote operational excellence via effective testing and monitoring for services and pipelines. • Participate in project planning and collaborate with technical product managers. • Document work and lead discussions in an easily understood manner.

Requirements

• BS+ 6+ years of experience OR MS+ 3+ years of experience. • Good knowledge of at least one programming language (С++, Python, Scala, Java), Python preferred. • Experience with AWS services (S3, Lambda, Step Functions, IAM, Event Bridge, Glue, Athena) or any other cloud platform. • Experience working with high throughput data processing pipelines. • Strong technical communication skills, written and verbal, that scale to a diverse workforce • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and debug complex software defects. • Experience in source control applications and agile workflows such as GITHUB and JIRA.
