📋 Description
• Responsible for designing and implementing strategic goals for managing and maintaining data systems and pipelines • Work with internal and external contacts to document requests for major data projects • Ensure data structures support needs while preparing for future growth • Assist developers to ensure development meets business needs • Resolve complex support and development issues • Complete peer code reviews and testing for complex issues • Create standards and best practices for development and testing protocols • Understand future technology plans and recommend trends for data infrastructure • Diagnose production problems and provide technical support • Collaborate with internal departments for improvements
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field required • Significant experience using Databricks and building complex data pipelines • Experience working with internal and external contacts to obtain project requirements • Experience creating roadmaps for project development • Ability to handle multiple simultaneous tasks and prioritize business needs • Strong written, verbal and customer service skills • Experience designing system architectures including meta-data driven ETL/ELT frameworks • Experience with software development life cycle tools such as GitHub, GitHub Actions, and Jira
