📋 Description

• The Team Lead of Coding is responsible for managing the inpatient and outpatient coding and data abstraction function for our hospital clients by monitoring productivity and workflow and follow-up with management when needed. • Essential Functions include: Client set up, monitoring accuracy rates, client reporting, resolution of client concerns, and employee management. • Maintain patient confidentiality and compliance with all laws and regulations. • Proactively recruit and train staff while ensuring performance management and ongoing feedback.

🎯 Requirements

• 4-year degree or equivalent health information leadership experience • AHIMA certification required • AAPC credential accepted with Health Information leadership experience • Experience coding or managing coding services in a hospital or vendor environment • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills • Must be detail oriented and able to follow through on issues to resolution • Must be able to act both independently and as a team member
