Description

• Perform mission design activities and trade studies of various trajectory algorithms and RPO approaches • Develop and implement robust RPO, trajectory optimization, and optimal planning and scheduling algorithms in C++ • Perform statistical analysis (Monte Carlo, linear covariance analysis) to support maneuver planning and proximity operations • Test and verify algorithms via software and hardware in the loop simulation • Work with the Space Operations team to integrate RPO plans and support post-flight analysis

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering or similar discipline • Experienced with C/C++ and Python • 4+ years of experience with RPO and trajectory design • Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and solve complex problems with first principles approaches • Passion for spaceflight and advancing capabilities related to space domain awareness and space security
