Description
• Oversee daily accounting and treasury operations • Maintain bank accounts, credit cards, control matrix, and authorized signers • Ensure payroll functions run smoothly, with timely and accurate payments in compliance with laws and regulations • Act as the daily point of contact for lenders, ensuring sufficient cash availability • Prepare and maintain rolling 12-month cash forecasts • Ensure books and records comply with GAAP • Coordinate and prepare internal and external financial statements • Provide insights on spending and performance versus budget • Manage compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations • Lead annual financial audits, lender audits, workers' compensation audits, and other audits as required • Identify and implement process improvements and automation within NetSuite
Requirements
• 7+ years of increasing leadership experience in Accounting & Finance with current or prior roles as Controller • Direct, recent experience in eCommerce / DTC / Retail / Consumer Goods heavily preferred • CPA highly preferred • Experience working for a manufacturer and proficient in cost accounting and managing audits, financial consolidations, and reporting • Experience with a midsize high-growth company, ideally in the Apparel or Outdoor industry • 2+ years managing an Accounting team • Experience with financial reporting requirements • Experience in working with multiple legal entities, potentially internationally • Experience with a digitally native or digital environment
