Description

• Join the team as Twilio’s next Paralegal, Litigation, Employment, & Litigation Technology. • Opportunity to partner with Twilio’s business units across the company to drive solutions on a variety of issues. • Support Twilio’s in-house and external counsel in factual development of cases. • Assist with the discovery process, including collection, retention, and production of documents. • Research, draft, and review legal documents, including responses to demand letters, agency charges, and subpoenas. • Oversee, maintain, and draft document retention notices. • Prepare documents for court filings. • Create and maintain a repository of legal documents. • Analyze information, documents, and provide written analysis to legal counsel. • Track and manage critical litigation and other deadlines. • Help develop and implement efficient processes for operations. • Project manage and assist with various ad hoc legal projects.

Requirements

• BS or BA degree or paralegal certification with a minimum of 3+ years of paralegal experience with a law firm or in-house legal department. • Excellent on-line research and investigative skills. • Knowledge and prior use of e-discovery tools and workflows for data preservation and collection. • Be a self-starter who works effectively on a geographically-dispersed team with minimal day-to-day supervision. • Possess excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. • Demonstrate strong attention to detail. • Perform well in a fast-paced, deadline-intensive environment. • Be proficient in the use of software, including Google Workspace products, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel, and Slack. • Be willing and able to quickly develop proficiency in unfamiliar software and systems. • Experience working at a law firm or in-house at a multinational, publicly-traded company on both US and international issues. • Experience working with or for technology companies. • A sense of humor, enthusiasm for technology, and desire to learn about Twilio’s products and services.
