📋 Description

• The Vice President of Manufacturing role leads the overall manufacturing strategy, planning, and operations for APAC manufacturing locations. • At a strategic level, this role will drive movement and consolidation of the operational footprint while streamlining equipment to improve running cost, depreciation charges, headcount, security, logistics and time to manufacture through adopting process designs, technologies, and methods that maximize operational efficiency. • This role also plans and forecasts resources for facilities, equipment, materials, technology, and workforce to ensure sufficient manufacturing capacity to support business goals. • This position reports to the SVP of Global Operations. • Please note this position is Up to 50% travel required primarily to manufacturing locations in China/Vietnam.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience with the electronics industry of which multiple years have been at leadership level, preferably at a mid- to large-size multinational company. • Ability to work independently on new process development/strategic realignment as well as advise on tactical issues: self-starter able to work with little direction and with a high level of self-motivation. • Strong executive presence – ability to navigate complex situations, communicate across the organization and lead cross-functional teams to drive impact. • Direct international experience leading cross-national teams preferred. • Good written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills – proficiency at both written and spoken English, second language (Vietnamese/Mandarin) preferred. • Strong documentation skills and ability to read and interpret advanced technical documents and write reports. • Familiarity with ERP systems generally and MRP specifically - knowledge in Oracle/Cloud Planning preferred. • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point).
