β’ Support UMG US Controls & Compliance activities β’ Support annual compliance program including internal control evaluation, design and documentation, walkthroughs, sample-based testing, remediation, results reporting and process improvements β’ Develop and enhance work programs related to the evaluation of entity and process-level controls β’ Develop and update process narratives, flowcharts, and related controls documentation β’ Develop, optimize, and execute test plans to evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of controls β’ Draft deficiency reporting and presentations β’ Follow-up on identified findings and deficiencies β’ Identify process improvement opportunities β’ Contribute to annual compliance program enhancements and tools β’ Participate in ad-hoc operational and financial projects requested by management β’ Contribute to a positive and team-oriented culture
β’ A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be derived β’ CPA or CIA preferred β’ A minimum of 3 years of financial / operational audit and SOX experience from top public accounting firm or Internal Audit, preferably with experience in the Technology, Telecommunications, Media & Entertainment industry β’ Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment β’ Knowledge of accounting, finance and internal control areas is required β’ Comprehension of internal auditing standards, generally accepted accounting principles, SOX, COSO and risk-assessment practices β’ In-depth knowledge of business processes, as well as process controls and risks β’ Understanding how this relates to relevant audit procedures β’ Solid business acumen β’ Strong project management abilities as well as verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact with various levels within the organization β’ Ability to lead change and experience working in a fluid, changing environment β’ Strong analytical skills and ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw conclusions and solve problems β’ Highly proficient in MS Office Suite to intermediate (Excel, Power Point, Word) and Visio β’ Experience with SAP ERP, BPC, Hyperion FM, and Blackline is a plus
