Description

• The Payroll Analyst is responsible for the processing and the day-to-day activities of the organization’s multi-state payroll function ensuring quality, accuracy, and timeliness for the End-to-End payroll process. • Ensure accurate and timely payroll process and manage all aspects of payroll, including compliance with laws and regulations, maintaining payroll records and processing paychecks. • Process Multi-State full cycle weekly payrolls including data entry, validation, employee payments and report outputs (semi-monthly payroll). • Prepare and submit all required payroll outputs including payroll tax filing and accounting reports. • Prepare certified payrolls in compliance with government regulations and project specifications. • Stay up-to-date with payroll laws and regulations. • Analyze and resolve payroll issues, discrepancies, and inquiries. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, accounting, and project management. • Process off-cycle payrolls as needed for terminations, adjustments etc. • 401K reporting: Reconcile and report on 401k contributions and disbursements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. • 5+ years of payroll supervisory role. • Experience in payroll including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes. • Knowledge of US multi-state, multi-jurisdiction environment, taxes and labor laws. • Experience with PEO, TriNet preferred. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Proficient in Excel. • PC skills including working knowledge of the Microsoft environment and the ability to access, manipulate, organize and relay information in a meaningful way. • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders. • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment. • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification a plus.
