β’ Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy focused on expanding our companyβs footprints in the US and Canadian markets. β’ Identify new market segments, potential clients, and strategic partnerships to drive revenue growth. β’ Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to refine sales strategies and product offerings. β’ Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at potential customers. β’ Understand clients' business challenges and objectives to position our product solutions effectively. β’ Direct the sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure, demonstrating a hands-on approach. β’ Negotiate complex agreements with enterprise customers, including pricing, terms, and service level agreements. β’ Ability to present and articulate sales data and set KPIβs with both customers and internal leadership team. β’ Partner with leadership team to build a sales playbook and strategy from the ground up. β’ Collaborate with product and engineering teams to provide valuable customer insights for continuous product improvement. β’ Represent the company at events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance our visibility.
β’ Proven track record of at least 5+ years in business development, sales, or related roles within the marketing tech space. β’ Strong background in selling Ad/Martech SaaS products; familiarity with furniture or appliance space is a plus. β’ Worked in an early stage startup environment. β’ Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. β’ Strong analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data-driven insights to guide decisions. β’ Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
