β’ Responds to all incoming telephone call for Company-wide inquiries β’ Sets reservations and holds by working with customers needs/demands β’ Answers inquiries by clarifying desired information; researching, locating, and providing information β’ Resolves problems by clarifying issues; researching and exploring answers and alternative solutions; implementing solutions; escalating unresolved problems β’ Fulfills requests by clarifying desired information; forwarding requests to facility/management appropriately β’ Assists customers with any technical issues experienced with website β’ Maintains call center database by entering information into company programs β’ Effectively communicates with management and fellow associates β’ Regular worksite attendance in accordance with Companys Attendance Policy is required for this position β’ Other Duties As Assigned β’ Periodic special projects and duties may be assigned based on Company need and requirements β’ Must be able to perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another, with frequent interruptions or distractions and within tight deadlines
β’ High School Diploma is required β’ Some college is preferred β’ Previous telesales experience a plus, but not required β’ Prior Call Center experience preferred, but not required β’ Retail sales and marketing experience is preferred but not required β’ Successful record of sales accomplishments and marketing skills in the self-storage or retail industry is preferred, but not required β’ Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills β’ Excellent listening skills and the ability to ask probing questions, understand concerns, and overcome objections β’ Possess the eagerness and work ethic to succeed in a customer service environment; a motivated self-starter β’ Professional and friendly attitude and ability to quickly develop a rapport with customers over the phone β’ Ability to learn and navigate new software β’ Ability to type 30 wpm+
