β’ Lead technical discussions with mid-market customers & VIP logos alongside the Enterprise Sales team. β’ Ensure customers realize maximum value from Vanta for their security goals and retention. β’ Consult and create innovative solutions post-sales for customers. β’ Drive customer onboarding through to adoption and annual renewal. β’ Collect customer references, case studies, and product feedback to influence the roadmap. β’ Own the technical relationship with customers and partner with Customer Success Managers for seamless onboarding. β’ Develop an understanding of product capabilities and market feedback from customers to influence opportunities.
β’ 3-5 years of customer-facing, technical experience as a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer or equivalent title β’ Hands-on experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure & Operating Systems (Windows, MacOS, Linux) and cloud application architecture β’ Strong project management skills with a proven ability to operate in a startup environment that lacks structure of a larger organization β’ Creative, curious, technical, and naturally persuasive β’ Detail-oriented and organized β’ Strong listening skills with customers, and strategy discussions with colleagues β’ Capability to interact with various roles within an organization including technical, security-minded individuals, plus executives β’ General knowledge with a scripting language (Python, Ruby, Bash, and JavaScript) and a desire to expand those skills β’ Familiarity with REST API development and service integrations is a plus β’ Ideally has prior B2B SaaS experience
