Description

• Write, modify, and execute test scripts - both Manual and Automation • Document software defects using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers • Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, and potential problems • Monitor bug resolution efforts and track success • Create and review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, and completeness, and to mitigate risk • Provide feedback and recommendations to developers and product manager on software usability and functionality • Create or maintain database of known test defects • Perform initial debugging procedures by reviewing configuration files, logs, or code pieces to determine breakdown source • Investigate customer problems referred by technical support

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related area or professional experience equivalent • Demonstrated ability to perform with minimal supervision • Exhibit leadership skills to coordinate personnel and projects on various levels • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Exceptional interpersonal and team building skills • Demonstrated competence in QA related activities through education and experience • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Demonstrated competence in QA Automation (min 2-3 years)
