• Define, communicate, and execute the strategy, roadmap, and for building best-in-class data solutions and foundational data platform capabilities for our banking products • Assess the operational excellence of data platforms at Varo • Deliver data management/governance solutions including data observability with practical application to business problems • Drive development of robust metrics and analytics infrastructure • Work cross-functionally with other teams including analytics, data science, engineering, marketing, and product • Manage product deliverables on key initiatives and provide transparency to executives and stakeholders • Remove barriers and obstacles hindering the team's ability to ship

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field • 5+ years of experience in Technical/Platform Product Management experience preferably in a Fintech and/or data-driven environment • Experience delivering Data Management/Governance solutions including Data Observability with practical application to business problems • Advanced knowledge in writing SQL to aggregate, transform, and analyze large datasets • Experience working with AWS Data Infrastructure • Experience working cross-functionally and seamlessly communicating with people from various roles and teams • Proven experience using data to drive decision-making • Ability to quickly learn and grasp banking business processes across Growth, Retail, Lending, Operations, Risk and Fraud • Demonstrated analytics capabilities and are comfortable with using data to improve product performance • Ability to deliver solutions that have driven tangible improvements to product usage and customer engagement • A growth mindset and can-do/get-done attitude
