Description
• Lead and mentor a team of direct reports and indirect reports, including category managers and analysts. • Drive accountability within the team for achieving outcomes, maintaining high standards of quality, and delivering exceptional customer service. • Develop and execute sourcing and contracting strategies to optimize non-labor expense reduction. • Manage sourcing and contracting spend categories ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies. • Collaborate with clinical and administrative stakeholders, supplier representatives, and internal Supply Chain team members.
Requirements
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in sourcing and contracting experience, preferably in an acute healthcare setting. • Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and driving accountability for results. • Knowledge of government regulatory bodies and compliance requirements in the healthcare industry. • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Workday), contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools, and comparative price benchmark databases. • Combination of education and experience in lieu of a degree.
