Description

•Lead the Platform Engineering team in the Veeam Data Cloud (VDC) team. •Establish vision for the VDC platform systems and ensure execution toward that vision. •Act as the thought leader in modern SaaS software delivery mechanisms.

Requirements

•3+ years of experience leading engineering teams in the Platform, DevOps, or SRE domains. •5+ years of hands-on experience as an engineer. •Experience building and operating high-scale cloud-native applications. •Experience promoting a culture of Operational excellence with SaaS products. •Experience with public cloud infrastructure •Experience automating infrastructure through code using technologies such as Pulumi or Terraform. •Experience with GitHub Actions and other modern CI/CD tools •A breadth and depth of hands-on experience public cloud services. •Ability to prioritize well, communicate clearly and understand how to drive a high level of focus and excellence with a talented and opinionated team. •High emotional intelligence, excellent communication skills, and empathy for others. •Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others, and strong analytical thinking skills are critical to success in this position •Demonstrated ability to formulate data driven decisions that lead to results •Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, manage, and prioritize multiple projects
