β’ This role is ideally suited for someone with experience in the Broadcast market with knowledge of the equipment eco-systems found in the broadcast production environment. β’ You will be working with some of the industries most recognised brands, working for a company that was integral to the development of Broadcast Television. β’ The company already has an extensive network of contacts within the major markets but are looking to deepen our customer intimacy in this area. β’ There is a real opportunity for an enterprising, ambitious and motivated individual to carve out a niche and make the role their own, becoming the go-to person for broadcast in one of VPS largest markets. β’ Existing relationships are an advantage, but ability to network is more important. β’ Working directly with end users, system integrators (SIβs) and other routes to market you will be creating demand for VPS products and ensuring that we are best placed to win any tender or projects that get released. β’ We are looking for someone who is strategic, data driven and comfortable being technical with end customers. β’ Existing knowledge of our products is advantageous but not critical, if you have a willingness to learn and seek out information. β’ The role is home office based, with 50% of time spent visiting customers in your region. β’ There will be trips to head office (Bury St Edmunds) for product training, occasional meetings and sales meetings. β’ Being based near major broadcast hubs (e.g. London, Manchester) will be an advantage.
β’ Highly results and performance driven, with a track record of achieving targets and objectives. β’ Excellent time management and organisation. β’ Self-starter and capable of working independently. β’ Strong presentation and communication skills. β’ Ability to network and build relationships at multiple levels within a customer. β’ Demonstrable B2B sales experience β’ Proficient with MS Office and CRM (SalesForce) β’ Ability to work directly with end user to influence tender, in collaboration with channel partners and SIs β’ Fluent in English β’ Knowledge/Relationships with existing Videndum routes to market (Desirable) β’ Understanding of existing Videndum Brands and Product lineup (Desirable) β’ Experience working for a manufacturer/brand (Desirable) β’ Other European languages (Desirable) β’ Understanding of the Broadcast, Pro Video Industries (Desirable) β’ Experience of working in System Integration (Desirable)
