📋 Description

• The opportunity: We are looking for a Senior Corporate Accountant to manage the activities of corporate accounting. • As a Senior Corporate Accountant with Visio, you will contribute to the Accounting Department by: • Managing the day-to-day operations and responsibilities of corporate accounting, including consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements • Preparing financial statements for BPCM-Visio Investors, LLC, VBPMT Splitter, VBPMT EII, and VBPMT II LLC • Preparing audit work papers for the annual financial statement audit and assisting the Corporate Controller in managing the annual audit • Preparing tax return workpapers and assisting the Corporate Controller in managing the annual tax return, and TRS equity roll-forwards • Preparing Intercompany allocations, and elimination accounting • Conducting monthly uploads and comparisons between separate sets of books • Conducting inventory reserve calculations and reconciliation for real estate-owned • Driving the process enhancements and data integrity checks to ensure timely and accurate reports and provide recommendations on productivity, quality, and areas of concern • Developing and monitoring effective financial and accounting controls • Performing special projects as assigned • Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes • Managing other responsibilities and duties as assigned based on business needs

🎯 Requirements

• Someone with a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance • Someone with 5 years of finance, accounting, general ledger, financial reporting, or other relevant experience • Someone with Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience • Someone with the ability to use standard office equipment, printer, scanner, copier, fax, telephone, personal computer, and other peripheral devices • Someone who is a self-starter, highly motivated, goal-oriented, passionate, high-achieving, and hardworking • Internal Applicants: 6 months of Visio Lending work experience which includes no disciplinary actions within the last 3 months. Current Manager notification is needed before applying for a vacant position. Any applicant that does not meet these conditions will require approval from the executive team member over the hiring department before extending a job offer
