📋 Description
• Interpret and respond to requests for protected health information. • Ensure the privacy of the patient by safeguarding protected health information. • Fulfill release of information requests professionally within SLAs. • Adhere to customer policies and federal regulations. • Reproduce protected health information using various technologies. • Perform data entry functions in the ROI system. • Provide routine customer service regarding release of information requests. • Oversee daily operations of the Release of Information staff. • Monitor request statuses for compliance with SLA's and regulations. • Manage leadership team for efficient processes. • Process requests for release of information timely and according to policies. • Verify requestor type and release requirements under HIPAA.
