• Industry Learning: Acquire in-depth knowledge of the government contracting business development lifecycle, • Skill Development: Develop strong consulting and writing skills, • Opportunity Research: Conduct thorough research to identify potential new business opportunities. • Client Interaction: Build and maintain professional relationships with government and industry leaders. • Cold Calling: Demonstrate a proactive approach by making cold calls to potential clients, • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with technical, financial, and legal teams. • Administrative Support: Manage documentation, track proposal deadlines, and support overall business development efforts.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field. Recent graduates with a relevant degree are highly encouraged to apply. • Skills: Strong research skills, search capabilities, and critical thinking. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). • Attributes: Strong desire to develop into a sales/business development resource. Enthusiasm for making cold calls and pursuing new business opportunities. Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn. • Experience: Previous internships or experience in business development, capture management, or government contracting is a plus but not required.
