Description

• Voltus is the leading virtual power plant operator of distributed energy resources. • Voltus pays energy users to reduce or shift electricity use in response to grid stress, high prices, and high emissions. • The Voltus platform connects distributed energy resources (DERs) to energy markets across the US and Canada. • This multifaceted position provides broad exposure to all that Energy Markets does, including data management and market strategy.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills • Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work product • Uncommonly driven to succeed and maniacally self-initiated • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment • A strong technical background in Excel. Programming experience in SQL, Python, and data architecture is a plus. • Exhibited interest in the energy and/or climate space. • 1-2 years experience in the demand-side energy industry (Preferred, not required)
