• Manage, train and evaluate Regional sales and service teams to achieve Vision Care’s and Visi’s Enterprise Strategy goals • Lead and coach Market Directors, Business Development Managers, and Client Managers in effectively selling VSP products and services to select existing accounts and new prospects • Utilize in-depth knowledge of the organization's services, products, and marketing techniques to drive market share growth and operational goals • Guide Market Directors, Client Managers, Key Client Managers and Associate Client Managers in the development and implementation of strategic business plans tailored to the needs of individual accounts to retain and grow membership, and to identify opportunities for new and ancillary product sales • Help the team cultivate and build strong business relationships with clients and prospective client executives, sharing effective techniques and learnings with all selling roles and leadership • Coach the team to educate customers on industry and price trends, aiding them in making informed business decisions • Maintain a current working knowledge of existing and new products/services and other relevant information to ensure the team provides accurate information to customers • Serve as a liaison between departments and customers to ensure service levels and expectations are met • Collaborate with marketing and product development to address customer needs and analyze market data • Foster strong, collaborative relationships with internal business partners across the organization • Utilize the sales automation system to perform inquiries, maintain records, and prepare reports • Monitor direct report performance to ensure sales and retention goals are met • Provide prompt and objective coaching, conduct performance reviews, and manage performance as necessary

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent experience • Seven years direct sales experience, preferably in the employee benefits or Healthcare/Insurance industry, with established broker relationships • Three years leadership experience • History of participation/collaboration in corporate special projects • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills • Demonstrated track record in meeting sales/revenue goals with major account responsibility • In-depth knowledge of underwriting, products, services, and healthcare industry • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time • Clean DMV record • Ability to obtain appropriate state insurance license within six months of employment and meet all continuing education requirements
