Description

• Wealthsimple is on a mission to help everyone achieve financial freedom by reimagining what it means to manage your money. • Using smart technology, we take financial services that are often confusing, opaque and expensive and make them transparent and low-cost for everyone. • We’re looking for Software Development Managers to lead one of our growing engineering teams. In this role you will lead a group of 4-6 developers, and work closely with Design, Product and Data partners, to enable your team to ship excellent.

Requirements

• Experience managing software development teams. • Proven track record of delivering well-designed and tested software. • Experience working in a fast-moving, high-growth company and/or experience working in consumer fintech. • Experience working in a collaborative environment with product management, design and data partners. • Experience with our tools and technologies: Kotlin, Java, Ruby on Rails, GraphQL with Apollo, Kafka, Typescript, ReactJS (note: experience with all is a nice to have, not required!).
