• About Wellth: • Wellth is a fast-growing digital health startup headquartered in Los Angeles that recently raised a Series B from leading investors including SignalFire. • Our mission is to provide daily care motivation to people living with chronic conditions so they can make healthier choices, every single day. • Our work quite literally saves lives every day. • You will work autonomously to build out new solutions to complex business problems with generative AI, machine learning, and workflow automation. • A year or two from now, if you so choose, you can be speaking at conferences about how you saved hundreds of lives. • You are curious, you are driven, and you are relentlessly focused on scaling Wellth’s health rewards program to 5x the number of members. • Specifically, you will research current member operations and product processes, explore technologies, build prototypes, launch experiments, and monitor outcomes.

🎯 Requirements

• A BS in Computer Science/Engineering or greater; Masters or PhD preferred. • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience (ideally Python & TypeScript). • 1+ years building with generative AI on a daily basis. • Knowledge of the GenAI vendor space, including foundation models, developer platforms, open-source models, and off-the-shelf GenAI tools from SaaS platforms. • A creative and curious mind, hungry to find opportunities to do things better. • Experience researching current user experiences in order to create new ones. • Work independently, with a self-starter mindset and a bias for action. • Think creatively and navigate ambiguous problems with a structured, results-oriented approach. • Clearly communicate complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Balance the need for technical rigor with practical, business-focused solutions. • Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where experimentation and iteration are the norm.
