Description

• Lead a team of software engineers within Mobility Engineering • Embrace Agile development principles and follow an embedded DevOps model • Involved in planning, designing, developing, and testing software systems for enhancements and new projects • Manage a team of motivated software developers, driving results in a fast-paced environment • Promote test-driven development and take responsibility for any stage of the software development lifecycle as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline • 10+ years hands-on experience developing applications in Java • 3+ years experience managing teams • Expertise in backend services, APIs, data processing, and web applications (Spring Boot, GraphQL, REST) • Proficiency in designing and developing event-driven microservices architectures using Docker, Kubernetes, and Kafka • Strong skills in data engineering, ingestion, storage, processing, and databases (SQL, Postgres, Liquibase) • Experience with technical design and user story creation (JIRA, Confluence) • Familiarity with production on-call support • Demonstrable CI/CD experience with exposure to DevOps • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills • Commitment to continuous improvement and a passion for automation • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of building strong relationships across diverse organizations
