• Develop and maintain close professional working relationships with the client serving as the client’s single point of contact throughout the project • Ensure that client expectations and satisfaction are met or exceeded on all projects and the client’s best interests are represented with respect to contractual and technical issues • Lead analysis, development, implementation, and revisions of strategic plans and actionable products • Review reports and records of activities to ensure progress is being accomplished toward specified program objective and modifies or changes methodology as required to redirect activities and attain objectives. • Work on several facilities and building projects, varying in size and scope • Select and organize project teams and establishes levels of authority and lines of communication • Give work direction and delegation, provides technical advice, resolves problems, prepares schedules, and sets deadlines to ensure timely completion of work • Chair project and site meetings, finds resolution to issues and coordinates between multiple stakeholders • Maintain contact with existing and prospective clients and respond to business development and sales opportunities with support from the Business Development Team, Business Office, or Senior Leadership • Manage, track, and report on complex project plans and controls, budgets, schedules, teams, and other resources • Provide oversight and leadership to the change management process, payment certificates and other contract or project related administrative documents
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture or quantity surveying (or an equivalent combination of academic and practical experience) • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Project Manager, representing owners to multiple stakeholders in the delivery of projects of varying size and scope in sectors such as institutional, healthcare, educational or commercial mixed-use • Strong knowledge of various types of construction methodologies, project management models and financial management, as well as building codes, contract law and relevant legislation • Effective leadership and organizational skills with the ability to effectively influence others and successfully resolve a variety of client, project and technical issues • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills • Strong computer skills, including a working knowledge of scheduling (MS Project), word processing (Word) and spreadsheet (Excel) software applications • Able to adapt to changing work efforts and manage the impact of shifting priorities • Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize multiple on-going projects • Ability to analyze, summarize, and compile data and information
