Description

• The Senior Solution Consultant provides pre-sales support in the development and presentation of our platform for prospective clients and current customers to address the complex problems that Workiva's platform and solutions solve. • Execute pre-sales framework to engage customers, prospects, and partners via virtual and onsite meetings, drive the discovery process, lead product demonstrations, and identify areas where Workiva solutions align to address customer/prospect needs. • Demonstrate expertise across all of Workiva’s domain areas - Financial Reporting, ESG, and GRC - developing working knowledge of industries, departments, and use cases where Workiva can have an impact. • Assist sales in developing account plans in support of Workiva strategies and objectives. • Conduct process assessments with customers, build Proof of Concepts to validate requirements, build and present partner specific business cases. • Ensure customer success by working with implementation partners and Workiva Client Services team for smooth on-boarding and long term success. • Assist in developing new use-cases or by using existing templates providing proof of our solution's impact and value proposition. • May begin to deliver cross-domain coaching, training, or mentoring peers. • Work with Sales, Product Marketing, Client Services, Scoping, and Customer Success to achieve team and company goals.

Requirements

• Requires a minimum of 6 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 4 years and a Master’s degree; or 2 years and a PhD • Experience engaging with and presenting to business or IT managers and executives • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills • Self-motivated with strong propensity for action, results and continuous improvement • Experience building processes from the ground up, including design, proposal, and cross-functional alignment • Demonstrates proactive collaboration and feedback to product management teams to capture new customer requirements and enhancements, may require guidance as needed • Ability to solve problems and articulate solutions to business problems with strong communication and presentation skills • Hands on technical experience with SaaS solutions, cloud technologies, and architectures preferred • Experience with high level technical aspects of connectivity and integration (API) • Capability to gather business needs and present a value based, compelling software demonstration is preferred
