• Designing and coding innovative solutions for reliability and performance • Leading and defining excellence in solutions across the organization • Ensuring seamless experience for Workiva customers • Empowering developer teams with tools and best practices for ownership of operations • Designing new complex data processing workflows • Communicating and training stakeholders for successful adoption of practices
🎯 Requirements
• Undergraduate Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field • 4+ years of experience in site reliability, software engineering, or other relevant experience • Experience with systems performance tuning and load testing • Experience with Go, Python or Java • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or other cloud environments • Experience with common technologies like Git, Nginx, Docker, MySQL and PostgreSQL • Experience with GitHub or other distributed VCS • Experience writing code that works across platforms and browsers • Knowledge of recent UI developments (Typescript, Dart, React, microfrontends, etc) • Experience with Apache Kafka, ideally experience with Redshift, Snowflake or other similar system • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills • Self-motivated with a strong propensity for action, results and continuous improvement • Ability to thrive in high-energy, fast paced, rapidly changing environments • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage multiple processes, programs, and procedures simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines
