• Configuration management: Helps teams automate, provision, configure, and manage infrastructure. • Communication and collaboration: DevOps focuses on collaboration by combining the processes of development and operations. • Infrastructure management: Includes deploying and configuring servers, networking equipment, and other hardware. • Containerization and orchestration tools: Used to automate the management, deployment, scaling, and networking of containers. • Reviewing and validating code: DevOps engineers should be proficient in reviewing and validating code. • Coding and scripting: DevOps engineers should be familiar with coding and scripting to automate tasks and work with code repositories. • Implementing automation and streamlining processes: DevOps is about improving efficiency and productivity by streamlining processes and eliminating inefficiencies. • Technical support: DevOps engineers may provide level 2 technical support. • Root cause analysis: DevOps engineers may perform root cause analysis for production errors.

Requirements

• Experience with end-to-end systems development life cycles and standards. • Knowledge of financial industry practices, regulations and operations. • In-depth hands-on experience with AWS, Jenkins, GIT, OpenShift and/or Kubernetes. • A bachelor’s in computer engineering, computer science or other related discipline or equivalent experience. • Added Bonus if you have: Terraform experience
