• About Quench • Quench’s purpose is to impact people’s lives and improve the earth by helping to eliminate the 500 million plastic bottles consumed each year. • This role is a blend of technical expertise in data engineering and business intelligence analytics. • The ideal candidate is a positive, growth-oriented individual who will be responsible for designing and maintaining robust data pipelines, optimizing data workflows, and delivering insights through advanced BI tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems/Engineering, or 10+ years of relevant hands-on experience. • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing and business intelligence analytics. • Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience with database technologies (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL Servier). • Proficiency in programming languages like Python or R for data processing and analytics. • Experience in integrating with and managing APIs (e.g., REST, GraphQL) for data extraction and transformation. • Hands-on experience with data integration solutions (e.g. MS Data Factory, Informatica, SAP Data Services, Talend) • Expertise with data pipeline tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, dbt) and cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft Fabric, AWS, Azure). • Advanced experience with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker. • Strong knowledge of data modeling, schema design, and ETL/ELT processes. • Solid understanding of data governance, security, and compliance standards. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
