📋 Description

• WWC Global, an operating firm of Command Holdings, is seeking a full-time, remote corporate Tax Compliance Analyst II with strong attention to detail. • We are seeking a proactive self-starter, who will be part of a collaborative team, applying principles of accounting and assisting the Accounting Team in day-to-day functions supporting operations for multiple legal entities and maintaining compliance with multiple State and Local tax filings for various LLC’s and a Partnership. • This position will be responsible for ensuring the organization complies with all relevant tax laws and regulations. • They will need to stay current on existing, new, and proposed tax regulations. • Position may conduct internal audits to minimize risk of non-compliance, penalties, and potential legal issues, and will provide guidance on navigating complex tax regulations. • Duties included but may not be limited to: • Prepare and file accurate and timely returns for a variety of state and local taxes: • Sales Tax • Gross Receipts Tax • Franchise or Excise Tax • Property Tax • Assist in the annual Partnership Federal Income Tax Return and related State Income Tax returns with our Tax CPA’s. • Review or assist in reconciling various payroll tax filings and ensure compliance is maintained by our Payroll Manager and UKG. • Assist in timely closing of financial periods per closing calendar. • Prepare and review monthly analysis and reconciliations of balance sheet accounts for accuracy and completeness in accordance with GAAP. • Support finance department with the execution of required activities. • Understand, adhere to, and execute company policies and procedures. Identify compliance risks and recommend solutions. • Understand differences between subsidiaries in company structure and ability to maintain general ledgers according to legal entity. • Ensure strong internal controls are in place, to achieve necessary internal and external objectives. • Performs general accounting duties including development of reports, schedules, and analysis of accounts.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and 3-4 years experience in tax accounting, compliance and reporting // OR // 10+ years of progressive experience supporting multiple legal entities tax compliance. • Knowledge and experience conducting tax research for federal, state, and local regulations. • Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks within tight timeframes. • Able to work during EST core business hours, 10-3pm. • Proficient in MS Office Suite including Word, and PowerPoint. • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including vlookups, sumif formulas, pivot tables, and related functions. • Professional proficiency in English is required. • Ability to pass a federal background investigation including fingerprinting. • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
